- We bring you a fantastic interview with Phil the co-founder of Holme & Hadfield - the watch display case maker. amongst other items. We’ve wanted to have H&H on since we started the podcast. Listen to how and why H&H was born; the top sellers; how their new watch winder is made; engaging with their customers; and future collabs with a watch micro brand and a knife brand. - We share our Instagram shots of the month and learn that Zac has never watched The Muppets Christmas Carol!!! Tim selects four of his favourites: A fun smattering of colour with a rainbow sketch showcasing a Cartier tank and the Eiffel Tower from WatchtheLuxe; a generous cup of Cartiers from GeorgiaBenj; another from WatchFigures with those Muppet characters critiquing a Rolex Sub; and finally an artistic take from WatchWayUp capturing an angled crown shot of a vintage Rolex (10mins 34 seconds)
- Meanwhile, Zac goes for SpecialDial’s excellent set of Cartiers (shout out Ceinture!) using their signature use of light and also picks up out PiagetCollector’s white gold, blank dial custom watch for the King of Qatar.
- We round out the episode with watches we are lusting after. Zac goes for a vintage Omega big scarab with a pink dial from Vintage_watches_milano. Tim is crazy for the Heuer Bundeswehr with the bund strap from the 1960s - excellent pushers and such a clean dial. A superb example from FathomWatches.(4mins 52 seconds)
