While listening to Techmeme's podcast from February 1 I heard (again) about the rising popularity of augmented reality(AR).  Whether it's for instruction, for training, for marketing, or simply for fun - AR has definitely seen a rise in popularity partly due to quarantine and partly due to ingenuity of how to make the most of an uncertain time.
