Maggie is an entrepreneur, non-executive, doctoral researcher, and consultant. As a strong advocate for female and student entrepreneurship, Maggie established Girls in Charge in order to help combat the challenge of gender inequality. Through gamified workshops, Girls in Charge empowers women to build their confidence and entrepreneurial skills, while fostering cross-cultural connections. The idea of 'gamification,' which is intrinsic in encouraging self-motivation, as well as increasing overall effectiveness, efficiency, and knowledge acquisition, is at the core of their approach. Since its inception in 2019, Girls in Charge has become an international, multi-award-winning organization, and they are involved in important conversations within the policy world. Four years after starting Girls in Charge, they have been able to upskill over 5,000 beneficiaries across three continents. Their primary goal is to extend their reach and amplify their impact in future years, with the aim of up skilling 1 million women by 2030.
