In this episode, we look at those Trek characters that get the least love, the ones that are always on a top 5 list, but never the good kind! Andrew argues that the 3 episodes of his choice give unloved characters (Wesley Crusher, Neelix and Jake Sisko) an opportunity to demonstrate there’s a little more to them than we might have initially though. Existential questions, hostile environments and ache of loss force these characters to transition from being a weak to strong, and in doing so, forever alter how the audience sees them.
