My guest on this week’s episode is Jimmy Olsson who directed, produced and wrote his latest short film Alive (2020) starring Madeleine Martin and Eva Johansson. The film tells the story of Victoria, a disabled woman yearning for intimacy and her overprotective care assistant Ida, who reluctantly sets up a Tinder profile for Victoria with troubling results.

We jumped into Jimmy’s experience writing Alive’s screenplay in under ninety minutes in an airport lounge, his thoughts and feelings on disability and online dating and the secret to shooting mundane yet visually inviting locations.
