In this week’s episode, Ebenezer shares the last part of his “conversation” with Esther, the queen of the ancient kingdom of Persia and Media. In this part, he asks Esther to draw on her story to share some words of wisdom with today’s generation. The role of Esther is played by Monica Stephenson. Monica is a George W. Truett and Seminary Graduate and former Resident Chaplain at Baylor University. She is also a recent graduate from Dallas Theological Seminary where she served as president of the Women Student Fellowship and received a degree in biblical counseling.
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Monica received her bachelor’s in business with a concentration in Computer Information Systems and International Studies from Indiana University. She later relocated to Houston, TX where she began working at ExxonMobil. Monica has worked in the healthcare, energy, and oil and gas industries during her 15-year corporate career as a project manager. It was in Houston that Monica met and married her best friend and ministry partner, Todd Stephenson. Monica and Todd have a beautiful 3-year-old daughter named Amara and they reside in Dallas, TX.
Monica believes that the word of God rightly applied can be healing and restorative. She hopes to be an instrument used by God to bring wellness to others through the integration of psychology and biblical principles.
