For the next five weeks, Ebenezer’s “conversation” with Bible characters is featuring Moses, the famed leader and prophet of ancient Israel. In this first part of their conversation, Ebenezer asks Moses about his background and call narrative. The role of Moses is played by Dr. Matt Snowden. Matt Snowden is the pastor of First Baptist Church in Waco, Texas. His preaching ministry is broadcast weekly on KCEN-TV, an NBC affiliate. Matt is an adjunct professor at Baylor’s Truett Seminary. He has taught classes on pastoral leadership, preaching, and ecclesiology. He writes for Preaching Today and with Josh Hays, is the author of “One Bread, One Body” (upcoming in 2023 from Smyth and Helwys). Matt is married to Meredith Brady Snowden and they are the haggard and happy parents of Molly Katherine (16) and Wes (15).
