What kind of weirdo would join such a restrictive organization?” Although there are many common tactics amongst cults, there are different types of cults, as well as different reasons why people join.

There’s a stigma around involvement in cults, so much so that people often don’t share these experiences publicly or even with those close to them. We’re moving into a new era where it’s time to bring the darkness into the light, with love and acceptance for all that we are and all that we’ve been through. Tianna takes another step out of her spiritual closet here and shares her cult experience, with the hope of holding space for others to share their life experiences without guilt or shame.
