Women Writing

S2, Ep. 46: Coffee Break with Holly Gutwillinger

Listen Later

Welcome to the Women Writing podcast. In this episode, I’m taking a coffee break with author and podcaster Holly B. Gutwillinger.

Holly B. Gutwillinger writes and podcasts from her home in northern Ontario, where she lives alongside her husband and two rescue dogs who are central to her life. Her debut novel, North of Broken & Furever Home, was published on February 14, 2026, and delves into the layered bond between a woman and her rescue animals.Family runs deep in Holly's work—both the family we're born into and the one we build with the animals who depend on us. A graduate of the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies certificate program in creative writing, she's currently pursuing her MFA in fiction at the University of King's College. Holly contributes her time to the local writing community through her writers' guild and the Women's Fiction Writers Association.
