Ka’rena McClerkin is a 23 biracial woman missing from Kokomo, Indiana. She is described by loved ones as a sweet kid who knew how to make those around her feel good. She was close to her loved ones and is often described as a gentle soul. On October 11th, 2016, Karena (who was 18 yrs old at the time ) told her grandmother she was going to a party at a home on the 1000 block of South Washington Street. There was a guy she planned to meet up with first, and they would later head to the party together. “I'll be OK, Mamaw,” was the last thing she said to her grandmother. Ka’rena went to the party and at some point she left the house party and walked to a nearby BP gas station around 10PM. Witnesses claim they saw her get into a car in an alley, and this was the last time she was seen. While the town is a blaze with dozens of rumors about what happened to Ka’rena, years later the family still has no concrete answers.
