Chelsey is an Associate Director for Chippy Lane. She is also the Carne Trust Associate Director at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough and a co-founder of the multilingual devising company PowderHouse who are Company in Residence at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff. Currently she is on the reading panel for the Theatre Uncut Political Playwriting Prize.

Recent Directing Credits include: ANTIGONE (Network Playreadings, National Theatre Wales, Sherman Theatre and PowderHouse), The Invisible Woman (Ailsa Jenkins with Wales Millennium Centre and Welsh tour), BLUE (Chippy Lane Productions), Saethu Cwingod/ Shooting Rabbits (PowderHouse with Sherman Theatre and Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru).
