Although ego is often used in everyday conversation, it is a very misunderstood topic. We all wear various social masks that are created by our ego and heavily impact our lives. By learning the main characteristics or traits of ego and how influential they are in our decision making process, we can better understand traits of ego and how they affect most of our decisions. Through this process you will discover a new way of being; understand why you act and think certain ways; and what keeps you from being the authentic you. Once you know how ego has driven your life, you can take back control of your life and gain a greater self awareness. Authenticity and true knowledge of self is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and your loved ones.
