On tonight’s show:
Joe begins the show with some updates on the Wander Franco investigation. He’s being investigated in both Florida and the Dominican Republic. One tweet suggests he will never play in MLB again.
The NFL is looking into the XFL kickoff rules to curb concussions. Injuries are down with their XFL rules.
Andre Duke joins me, and we talk about the Eagles and also the James Hardin situation, and an interesting take on Joel Embiid.
I’m back to being solo, and the NBA released their season (finally) and Joe talks the major scheduling points and quirks.
Tim Anderson’s suspension was reduced to 5 games. Joe mentions the reason for the extra games was because he was the instigator, and not because of previous behavior in games, as Joe thought originals.
Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark was on a podcast on Wednesday and mentioned that the conference was in discussions with Gonzaga and UConn to join, but it did not work out when their “dream situation” became a reality last week.
Finally, Joe tested with PlayActionReal the final 2 minutes or so of the Eagles/Browns game as a possibility of a sidecast.
