On tonight’s show, Joe begins with why he did not have a show on Tuesday. It was a “personal day” and reminds everyone don’t be afraid of routine checkups and other important medical tests that have to be done as you get older.

Then we get to the main portion of the show with “Waiver Day” today as we found out where the Angels’ waived players went. Three players ended up with Cleveland, one in Cincinnati, and one in Seattle. Joe thinks an August 15 trade date would make things more interesting and stop this waiver wire hijinx that some MLB teams thought this was.

Joe then talked about the record crowd in Lincoln, Nebraska for a women’s volleyball match. Nebraska is big on volleyball, and they proved it with a crowd of over 92,000 fans in the football stadium.

Joe then talked about some of the issues the players cited in an ESPN survey. Joe thinks there is room to improve here as the WNBA players are becoming more known and more recognizable.

Joe was asked by his good friend SJ on her Discord page today what I thought about Bryce Harper. I took the question of is he overrated or underrated. I think in some regards, he is overrated, but if you really think about it, he is very underrated as a leader and having the clutch gene.
