S2 EP2: Evolving Communities Through Transformational Partying with Ember Spring Jaiah

Listen Later

There is a never a part of our life journey that isn't relevant to our growth and lessons we need to learn for our soul's purpose. Dance, music and partying has been a core part of my life, and I've been down the paths of experiencing the bliss of ecstasis in ways that have been both potentially harmful and supportive to my wellbeing.

When we turn to a path of choosing our highest wellbeing, we often may believe it means giving up partying. Partying is associated with poisoning our bodies and spirits. Yet partying is a bridge between all of humanity, all walks of life can come together on a dance floor. Reviving the ritual of gathering community to reach ecstatic states through music and dance will support us to heal as a collective, and as global movements of transformational partying expands, artists are sharing New Earth frequencies worldwide.

In this episode I interview Ember 'Spring Jaiah' about her path as an ecstatic dance DJ, dancer and facilitator of transformational partying spaces. We go deep on this topic, as well as the value of being of present and in-service to your land and community through in-person events, and how you can start your own ecstatic dance event as well as:

- The magic of Far North Queensland (the land that has been holding me since after Season 1)

- Our shared journey’s in Bali and the island’s influence on the global ecstatic dance movement

- Turning your healing path into art and service

- Localising your leadership

- Bringing the healing experience back to simplicity, fun, connection and play

- Remembering that life is a party and taking party culture out of the shadows of disconnection to creative expression

- Healing through intimacy with aligned group frequency

- Shifting culture and consciousness through intentional music and sound

About Ember

Inspired by the reemergence of the feminine earth, and as such an embodied leader of community vision and change through movement, music and intentional community experiences in Far North Queensland, Australia since approximately 2016.
