The seaside town of Brighton was (and still is) a popular getaway spot for Londoners for decades. But as the capital rushed towards the beach, so did its criminal background. In the 1930s, the town became known as 'The Queen of Slaughtering Places' after two gruesome murders take place with very similar circumstances. The historic crime known as the Brighton Trunk murders still fascinates and disturbs in equal measures.
