While language learning is often thought to only involve studying the syntax of one's target language, languages and cultures are intertwined, meaning that one must learn about their target language’s culture to truly understand the language. In this episode college student Clara Antime discusses her personal experience with intercultural communication and cultural differences. She talks with us about the importance of learning about other cultures, respecting different traditions, and developing an open-mind.

Clara is a 20 year old French young adult who studied abroad in Spain for 3 months. Clara is majoring in LEA (Language etrangere appliqque).Clara loves studying languages, listening to music, reading books and watching movies, watching series and learning more about different cultures. Clara can speak French, English, Spanish, Russian, and Korean.
