In this episode meet Mr. Raymond Anthony Fernando, an author, poet, multi-award mental wellness advocate, and someone who for 40 years loved and lived with his (late) wife, Doris, who suffered from Schizophrenia. A recipient of numerous awards, this 74 year old, still has a zest for life; he is a fighter and an advocate for Resilience, Mental Health and Wellbeing and for a kinder, more patient society.

In this 45-minute talk, I will cite some of the causes of depression, provide useful tips on how to better manage depression and what are the warning signs that one must look out for in tackling depression. This talk is also based on my own battle with depression for several years and how I overcame this illness and charted several new directions in life.
