It's an interesting album released during an interesting time in Sam's career.  
The turbulent '04 reunion was in the rearview mirror, Van Halen was back touring the nation with Roth and CUF emerged between the formation of two Sammy-led supergroups, and contained  some of the most heaviest tracks the Red Rocker has ever recorded.
