Steve was the West Coast correspondent for Guitar World magazine for four years during the seminal mid-‘80s, when he wrote eight cover stories—including three lead features on Edward Van Halen, which are recognized as pivotal pieces on the legendary guitarist. Thru this connection, Steve and Eddie started a friendship  which started in 1977, and lasted 26 years.  These memories, and interviews are now the core of Steve's amazing new book:  TONECHASER  - Understanding Edward: My 26-Year Journey with Edward Van Halen.

Steve was a great guest and the Bo-Hosts delve deep into his relationship with Eddie, share a theory as to why their relationship came to the close the way that it did, and Steve also has a heartfelt message to Alex Van Halen.  Grab a cold beverage  because this episode is RED hot!
