Ledge is joined by guest Brendan Forde this week on " Fresh From the Esky". Fordey as a student was gravitating towards life in the armed forces after he had risen to the highest position possible in the cadets. A position that even at school age was taking him all over the country. Still following this trajectory he applied to join the army after finishing school, and though accepted there were some restrictions placed on his enrolment due to a beforehand unknown medical condition. These restriction somewhat tarnished the dream that Brendan held. But rather than wallow in self pity it just meant Brendan would channel his immense drive and enthusiasm into a different passion. A passion that led to him opening his own business at the age of twenty, a business that is still thriving and growing today. But it hasn't been smooth sailing all the way, have a listen and see how Fordey, confronted, overcame and still manages these issues.
