The theme for the April 21-27, 2024 National Volunteer Week is Celebrate Service – an opportunity to shine a light on the people and causes that inspire us to serve.

Mission-Educate & Empower in three parts, helping listeners ‘SEE’ what’s needed to navigate the healthcare system.

1. Story (theme) Dr. G volunteered heavily before going to medical school Downey Regional Medical Center Emergency Department ER; Children’s school, PTA, Sports (ballet, soccer, football), Church, currently on nonprofit boards.

2. Educate -Teaching points

-Volunteering is about caring for another human being with your presence. It’s a priceless gift of your time.
