They have faced the physical, mental, and emotional burden of dealing with the high rates of COVID-19 patients, the added stress of potentially passing the virus along to their families and loved ones, and adapting to new protocols, procedures, and ways of working to manage COVID-19 patients while protecting themselves and others from the virus.

Despite these challenges, they still put their lives at risk every day.
