Liz has 33 years of experience dealing with conflict in communities that include training, policy development and facilitating conflict situations. She found new, dynamic ideas in Laird's training that she shares with us in the podcast, such as:

• Naming the "red line" (distortion / distress)
• The "fire hose" analogy 
• Dyads leading to specific actions
• Gossip - faction building vs. working through it with someone to get to a way to move it forward (venting / process)
