Tomorrow, September 5, 2024, New York City public school students head back to the classroom, so what better date to drop our episode with the multi-talented Traceena Lynch?
Traceena is a senior at Food & Finance High School in NYC, and thanks to the professional training programs run by the non-profit Food Education Fund, she already has a ton of experience in the hospitality and culinary fields. In addition to being an avid baker, Traceena has worked as a host, waiter, busser, and dining room manager. Already!
We met Traceena this summer at the launch party for the fifth issue of Pass the Spatula, the magazine that's created by Food Education Fund students.
Join us to get to know this delightful rising star of the Class of 2025. You’ll also learn more about the important work of FEF, and hopefully be inspired to join us in supporting and mentoring NYC public school students. These are amazing young folks with bright futures in the business.
