A very "stripped back" episode this week with our guest Tim "Turtle" Borg and his good friend, also former guest of FFTE Joel "Oysters" Kilpatrick as guest co-host. The combined facts that Joel ubers to the studio after a arvo sesh, Collingwood are playing Friday night footy which Ledge has on the tele at the bar and that there is plenty of Melbourne Bitter in the fridge ensures a good chat is to be had. Whilst Joel especially proves to be a nightmare for the editing team with his refusal to speak in the microphone direction in preference to watching his beloved Magpies it is Tim who holds centre stage admirably. Though just a shade on the shorter side of six foot Turtle is a former member of the Rockhampton Rockets as he followed his first sporting love of basketball to it's final destination before returning to his first junior sport of Australian rules football. Tim who no one can accuse of been a "player only" has filled just about every role at the the club he loves and that his father Ross was the very first junior signed up to. Conversation meanders through footy trips, the Air Jordan debate, Nick Kyrios, Ben Simmons and more but it is when he speaks of his latest big love Amelia that Turtles eyes really light up.
