To ask this precise question, we brought back BA TV and Radio Production graduate Conor Gilmore back to our MediaCity studios to grill him on how he got into the business which has seen him cover international football, rugby league, cricketing and horse racing events.

Conor shares his love of Salford, his top tips on getting the experience in the industry and how his eternal love for Blue Peter shaped the person he is today.
