In this final show before the July 4th Independence Day holiday here in the United States, H.E. Bishop Daniel Dolan joins Stephen Heiner to discuss the conflicts and harmonies that any American who loves his country must face in also being a faithful Catholic.

We will discuss the founding of America, its Constitution, the North American Martyrs, and various interactions the American government has had with the Catholic Church and with Catholics in general, up to the present day. We will also discuss the significance of the non-confessional American state and how this wrongheaded concept can corrupt basic modes of thinking about how society should function.
