Jacqueline Omania has been an environmental educator in the Berkeley, California Schools for over 30 years. She has worked to infuse sustainability into her curriculum, including starting a farm and garden at her school and developing a zero waste classroom. Her students have enjoyed the zero waste challenge, have reduced their annual waste down to one mason jar, and have set goals for a zero waste city.
