We all have monsters that live inside us. These are the thoughts, hurts, desires, and impulses that we think we can keep hidden because they seem small and insignificant. It’s in our nature. We get good at keeping these monsters hidden in our daily life, never imagining they might one day grow into an unmanageable, unstoppable force we can no longer control.
