In this episode Madie and Charlene invite Colette Barr, Scottish writer of "The Eco Heroes",  ecology books for children. They discuss how  family lifestyles impact the environment and how the little steps we take towards more sustainable living  each day, make big ripples and impact change on a global scale.  Colette gives simple tips on how to  guide our children in the right direction without getting overwhelmed, and explains how getting closer to nature  awakens us to do better. 

 Colette Barr is a former oil and gas industry employee turned children's  book writer for her local community; she is currently living in Abu Dhabi.
