We start the second season off with a bang as the party is separated after an attack. Verity meets a new companion by the name of Lenore, who, after joining with Ariana and Arsen, go to rescue Elly. With a mission from their new friend, the party dives deep into a cave for a mysterious coin.

Dragging themselves out of the chaos from their royal assassination, Verity, Elly and Ariana are in mourning. Reclaiming her title, Princess Verity faces her need to repent for the murders in her past. Elly leaves behind the man she loves to find what remains of her people, long thinking them dead. Ariana struggles with what it means to be both Penny and Anisha, as her mind merges with that of a villager she was unable to save. 

They are joined by new ally, Lenore-- a follower of the Raven Queen, who finds herself drawn to helping these lost young women, but holds secrets that may change the meaning of magic.
