It's true. It really never is about you. Selfishness is truly one of those vices that can make or break your marriage. You don't want be guilty of it, but you feel justified doing so when others are, especially your spouse. After all, you're a busy man, right? You bring home the bacon and that gives you the right to just kick up your feet and be waited on hand and foot.

Wrong.

Jesus washed the feet of his disciples, who were supposed to waiting on him. If He can do that with those he did not have a covenant with, how much more can we do for the one who we have a covenant with?
