A wave of COVID-19 infections moving forward in many Caribbean islands, including in Antigua and Barbuda. At the same time, the Omicron variant has been detected in a number of islands as well. We ask: How does Omicron differ from past variants? And what will it mean for the COVID-19 situation here in A&B and in the wider Caribbean region?
