It has been said that persuasion is the most important skill one can have in the workforce. Whether or not you believe this is the case, we all have to acknowledge persuasion is critical to success.  As Tony Robbins puts it, "Persuasion is the ability to influence and without influence, you won’t get the resources or support you need.  Without influence, you won’t be able to communicate your unique value to the world."

We ALL use persuasion: in interviews, in meetings, and even when trying to get your team to adopt a new tool or software (and these are just a few examples). Your ability to convince someone to change their point of view or take a course of action is essential to your success. So, if persuasion is so critical, how exactly do you master it? It really all comes down to one thing…and you’ll have to listen to find out what it is.
