S2:E12: Love Covers All Offenses

Listen Later

Why do we some times become offended when coming across something or someone that is different than us?  Why do we take offense to it enough to hate or dislike that person because of it??  Look I get it, Im no different when it comes to differences in people especially differences that I find to be "wrong" in my eyes, but what does God say about people and offenses?.. He says to Love one another from the beginning (1John 3:11) and that love covers all offenses (proverbs 10:12). So why is this all important anyway? come join me today on Faith In Between to figure out why its so important that we understand this ideal way of thinking, I'm no expert on love especially perfect love (1 Corinthians 13:4-8), but I am someone who struggles with this as well and thought it would be nice to sit and have a chat about it, in hopes that it would bring us more of an understanding about truly loving each other even through our differences.

Main Scripture: 1 John 3:11:  For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
