People so often focus on the paycheck. They make career decisions based on the paycheck. They make career decisions based on the perceived security. I challenge here that if you are not passionate about your career - your starting salary and perceived job security are pointless. You will not only be miserable, but you will also stagnate and not advance in your chosen career. I suggest following your passion area.....even if it has a lower starting salary you will quickly advance and rise to the top as your passion will show through everything that you do.  I share a bit of my story and my background concerning this topic. I also share about my current concussion and how its impacting my work because I am so passionate about what I do!
