I want to eat mangoes and take a nap! Welcome to this week's episode of Death Becomes Us. We decided to try something a little different this week, as time didn't permit us to do our usual format. Instead, we decided to do a deep dive into a case we swore off touching long ago: the murder of Hae Min Lee and eventual (infuriating) conviction of her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed. Hae, an incredibly smart and beautiful high school senior went missing in January of 1999, with her body being found a month later. Despite no physical evidence and an incredibly unreliable 'eye-witness', Adnan is found guilty and is still imprisoned to this day. This case is a mess, we're a mess.
