Today, it breaks my heart to see how much this next generation is completely unprepared for the world ahead of it. More so, it is frightening to think that these are the ones who will one day hold that same world in their hands. However, we can't look at them as a bunch of dumb kids, or as failures or a waste of our time. They have been failed by adults who have instilled in them idealism instead of motivation, arrogance instead of confidence, entitlement instead of respect, entitlement instead of gratitude and selfishness instead of consideration.

The generation before them has, as a whole, failed them and sent them on the road to disaster. 

But we can change that.
