S2:E19 | The Plan, Part I | Darkness & Dragons
The Party hatches a plan to start a battle between the quarrelling slavers Astrid and Lord Sumi. Concerned about the slaves safety during the coming battle. Sapphire and Taabi went off to secure the children enslaved by Sumi in the mines while Ariana headed towards Astrids brothel to warn those enslaved by her. Ariana had an awkward conversation with the oldest of Astrid's slaves planned for them to gather her people in the cellar for safety when a code phrase was uttered. Taabi and Sapphire successfully gathered the children in the narrow mines where they could not be followed by adults.
By taking advantage of the appointment that Kos and Brilia had managed to secure with Lord Sumi they successfully made it seem as though Astrid herself had broken in and stabbed him. In reality it was just Verity in disguise. Sumi quickly sent his guards over to Astrids place of business and cowered in his estate-licking his stab wound- leaving Taabi, Brilia, and Verity to finish him off. The party then met at the heart of the battle between Astrid and Sumis forces and quickly making their presence known with the casting of a few spells, causing both sides to change their focus to them. Noting that Astrid was not where in sight,the party managed to buy some time to enter Astrids base, which seems oddly quiet despite the chaos outside.

We are a Dungeons and Dragons 5e actual play focussed on roleplay over combat. Dragging themselves out of the chaos from their royal assassination, Verity, Elly and Ariana are in mourning. Reclaiming her title, Princess Verity faces her need to repent for past murders. Ariana struggles with what it means to be two souls in one body. Elly finds herself turned to ice, as she delves with powers beyond her.
They are joined by new allies, Lenore, Taabi and Brilia. Lenore, a follower of the Raven Queen, finds herself drawn to helping these lost young women (and freeing herself). Taabi, a nomadic Tabaxi, who will do anything to survive, and seeks the secrets of the dead. Brilia, a former housewife turned adventurer who learned her warlock abilities to protect her partner, Kos.
