In life, we tend to group things into our secular (physical, work) life and our sacred (spiritual, church) life. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that, but there can be real benefit in bringing the two together.

In this episode, I look back at my mix of secular and ministry jobs to show how the two can and should mix. There are lessons I learned from full-time ministry that can help every follower of Christ improve their own spiritual lives. But there are also lessons I learned in the secular workplace that can help ministers improve their ministries. We grow stronger in every area when we let the sacred invade the secular parts of our lives.
