Tragedy runs deep in Eel Marsh House. The estate stands empty, gardens overgrown and walls crumbling, its secrets buried with the Drablow family, who once occupied its halls. Until Arthur Kipps is sent to retrieve several legal documents necessary for the sale of the estate on behalf of his employer. Through old letters and photos, Kipps slowly uncovers a family tragedy that tore the Drablow’s apart, and now threatens his family as well. Can the past be laid to rest, or do some betrayals run too deep to mend?
