Summary
It is better to be poor and honest than to be a liar and a fool, especially when considering politicians whose corruption leads to wealth. In my opinion the decline in honest and wise politicians parallels the diminishing presence of God in public life, which has resulted in an abundance of foolishness and lies. We need to pray for justice and for individuals to turn away from wickedness and toward Him.
