The party awakens in a strange desert, overlooking a sea with silent waves, and without Kos and Ariana. They make their way inland, but find it increasingly hard to breath and stay warm. Eventually they find safe haven in a strange sanctuary full of food and drink and safety. Little to do they know, they are trapped in an orb being protected by Ariana, who is on her own strange journey through a land fit for necromancers. With Kos and Ariana finally face to face to Vecna, the two have only one way to stop his dark plan and save their friends. But the cost is more than most could bear....

We are a Dungeons and Dragons 5e actual play focussed on roleplay over combat. Dragging themselves out of the chaos from their royal assassination, Verity, Elly and Ariana are in mourning. Reclaiming her title, Princess Verity faces her need to repent for past murders. Ariana struggles with what it means to be two souls in one body. Elly finds herself turned to ice, as she delves with powers beyond her. 

They are joined by new allies, Lenore, Taabi and Brilia. Lenore, a follower of the Raven Queen, finds herself drawn to helping these lost young women (and freeing herself). Taabi, a nomadic Tabaxi, who will do anything to survive, and seeks the secrets of the dead. Brilia, a former housewife turned adventurer who learned her warlock abilities to protect her partner, Kos.
