On today’s episode we’ve got Stu McCarthy. Speedway fans might recognise Stu’s familiar voice known for entertaining crowds at the old Parramatta Speedway and in recent months the new Eastern Creek Speedway and Sydney Dragway that sit side by side. 

We spent some time getting to know the man behind the mic including his family ties in speedway with the Bell Bowen family and his chronic autoimmune diseases, which he refuses to let define his life. Stu is an absolute inspiration for those who might also be fighting illness, disability or injury, including raising awareness for Muscular Dystrophy, which we will chat about during the show.   

As one of the sports leading commentators, he’s been around the speedway industry for years and has some incredible stories to share.
