In this episode, I share a story of a rapidly spreading and terrifying deathly disease whose origin, while unknown, claimed millions of lives. The black death was an imported disease that found avenue to thrive and claim as many lives as it did because of a combination of poor awareness of public health and safety methods as well as the unclean lifestyle that was predominant in 1300s Europe.
