Beneath the abandoned city, the Walker discovers survival comes at a cost far worse than death.
After a desperate escape into the underground, a wound becomes a birth—and something ancient, engineered, and alive chooses him as its host. As tunnels echo with pursuit and the city’s hum grows louder, the Walker realizes he’s no longer fully human… and the underground knows it.
