Kara Fernstrom is an amazing podcast host who cut a little time out of her schedule to have a fantastically open discussion about her backstory. What lead her here and how she got started in podcasting.
Kara was an open book about her life growing up, between abuses, addictions and other issues, how it lead to the need for therapy, counseling and a rediscovery of herself.
We talk openly and honestly about those things, but also about the autoimmune health issues she has picked up along the way. We see how those have impacted her life, but more importantly, we see how she wouldn't let them take away her conquest of bliss.
Kara has health issues to deal with everyday, but you wouldn't know it. She tells us how she became Focused on Forward and what she's doing everyday to be happy.
