If you feel like you've lost touch with your practice or you've felt resistance to allowing yourself to show up, whether that be in a check-in group, breathwork, or the core practice of meditation. Today is for you.
I invite you to repeatedly come back to this session whenever you feel resistance to your practice. These sessions are recorded so you can fit them into your shila and your schedule. Every time you return to a guided meditation you get to see yourself, your practice, and what is shared in the session in a new way.
One of the most challenging parts of the journey is when we get caught in our logical thinking mind and begin to question returning to our meditation cushion, our men’s group or our breathwork session.
There are so many wonderful ways to cope with the common stressors of life but these practices are different than all the others. What’s different about them? We are learning to “Be with”… in this way we are not coping. We are learning to transmute, to work with, and to let go. For this to happen we need an empty container designed to create a space to be with what we experiencing.
The key here is “being with” we are not escaping or trying to get away we are arriving in a space to practice allowing, opening, letting go, and surrendering to practice being with whatever is present for us at the moment.
