S2E4 How my secret Passion for Presenting turned into me becoming an Event Moderator | Tips on how to find your passion(s)
How I turned a long-lost childhood hobby into a professional gig. In 2018, I was doing work I enjoyed but I was missing the secret ingredient. I wasn't sure what it was, at all. I sought guidance from a business coach. And I did some massive soul-searching. I dug deep into "Young Rachelle" aka my youth and connected the dots looking backward. There were some patterns. They were signs. And I found out that presenting was something I have done all my life. And LOVE to do it when I get the chance. I decided to take MASSIVE action right away and take my passion to a serious professional level. I took a presenting course, tailor-made for what I wanted to discover. I talked to TV presenters and moderators and found out I wanted to end up as the latter. Then I branded myself as one and went from there.
